Likes

College Campus which plays the vital role in student’s college life.
Hygiene in the campus is very good. -
The FFCS system, by which we can create our own preferred schedule.

Dislikes

Mess food is not up to our expectations.
The FFCS, as sometimes courses gets filled soon and you wont get to enroll.
We have to change our Hostel every year, which is a burden.

Course Curriculum Overview

I having the interest in Coding, made me choose the CSE course. There are lots of helpful faculties around here. Faculties are highly qualified and always helpful. Term exams will be conducted every 5 months.

Internships Opportunities

I am still in 1st year, so I don't know much about Internships. But many companies offer Internships every year such as TCS, Wipro, and many more. Seniors say a stipend is quite good for a Student.

Placement Experience

From 3rd Semester students are allowed to campus selections. There are around 500+ companies that come every year for placements. The highest package offered is 1.2 Cr as of now. The average for a CSE course is 8-9 Lakhs. 95% of students get places every year. I am planning of pursuing MBA after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is ok for me, as I got admission under category-1 which is 2 lakhs. I got an additional 50 thousand scholarship for getting a ranking under 1000 in the VITEEE exam. I am still in 1st year so don't know much about jobs and all.

Campus Life

Campus life is the best. There are lots of facilities available. You can see greenery all around you on the whole campus, which makes the college campus beautiful. There are 2 big Libraries on the campus, There are lots of books, you can get any books easily. The classrooms are clean and neat. E-Cell is one of the clubs run by students, enhancing Entrepreneurship in us.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms come in different categories. 1,2,3,4,6 sharing Ac and non-Ac rooms. Rooms are not that spacious, but manageable. Mess food is okay okay. I don't like it much, I eat outside most of the time. Hostel registration depends upon your CGPA, the higher the CGPA more the chance of getting your preferred room.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

Admission happens through the VITEEE exam, I got a 274 ranking so I got CSE under the Category-1 fee structure. Application forms will be available on the VIT website. No need for any improvements in the Entrance exam, it's fine.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
