Remarks

The college has biggest infrastructure when compared to other govt colleges in telangana. The only problem facing by the college is permanent faculty.Hope the problem will be solved soon

Entrance Preview

I have joined this college through EAMCET examination.I have got 11k rank and i opted for mechanical(material science and nano technology) branch. This college is one of the constituent college of JNTUH which is the best technological university of Telangana.

Internships Opportunities

Our college does not provide internship. But main campus of JNTUH offers internships for their student to work under professors who research on vast areas of the field. They also provide support to take internships at various institutes.

Placement Experience

3.5

As our college is newly established, they have little paid packages in our campus placements. Many students went to off campus placements conducted at JNTUH. Many of students got Packages up to 4 lakh per annum. but slowly year by year we are getting more number of companies.

College Events

4.5

Our college celebrates cultural and technical events in the name of amelioration. Our college also conducts sports fest and other social events. It also supported Tree plantation which was called by telangana govt in the name of haritha haram.Over 1000 plants were planted by students...

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to the students by govt of telangana to the students on the basis of income and caste. No special loan is provided by the college

Campus Life

4.5

gender ratio of the college is very good when compared to any prestigious university.Even in mechanical there are nearly equal number of girls and boys.Extracurricular activities are based on student interests.college provides students to play for tournaments across the country based on talent in any game.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are far more better than any govt college in telangana and it has recently constructed hostel buildings.Neatly polished flooring and good lighting provides students to study well.Sharing of room is two per room.it is well maintained. The standards should be increased a little more.

Alumni/Alumna

As the campus is new and only two batches are passed out, our college specifically didn't "conducted any interaction program me with them. But they are personally in touch with students

Exam Structure

Exam structure is based on choice based credit system.there will be two mid exams in between two semester examinations.Labs are very frequent providing us to understand industrial needs.assignments and other small projects helps students to understand subject more clearly.

Admission

No separate notification will be released for this college.Only through EAMCET counselling and EAMCET procedure. This exam will be conducted by TS government.Admission procedure is carried out by JNTUH. After examination you need to apply for web counselling and then the seat is allotted

Faculty

3.5

There are only few faculty in the side of materials and nano technology but the faculty for Mechanical engineering is very good. There are few Ph. D's teaching .HoD for this Branch is the Principal and care for branch students . In fact they teach according to industrial needs and research needs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
