Entrance Preview

VITEEE, I chose Mechanical engineering. Firstly because it was the best department both faculty wise and infrastructure wise. Secondly the course curriculum. Thirdly the campus I believe no campus is as engaging as VIT.

Internships Opportunities

L&T, Ashok Leyland. The stipend was handsome. One student got about 8000 / month, in 2006. Now it has to be more. Internships are not an issue. All you have to do is show interest and approach the faculty. All the help you need is available, right there in front of you.

Placement Experience

5

Impeccable placements. It is almost 100 %. Has been the number 1 record holder in India for the past 7 years to place a maximum number of students in the first slot.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is good. Lots of workshops, I remember once I went home after 1 and a half years as semester holidays were packed with workshops. Ragging is strictly prohibited. People have been rusticated on all occasions. Very healthy hostel life be it food, sanitation, overall housekeeping.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculty are very learned and focused. Attention is given to each student. Approachable at any time of the day. Each faculty has a rich experience. To add student exchange policy.

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
