My Honest Review for Srmist

I took CSE because I was interested in coding and other related stuff and I enjoy doing it. For us the faculty students ratio is around 1:60, we have different subject faculties also. Which is like 9 faculties for different subjects throughout the sem and we have one faculty in charge of us for the whole course. Most of our faculties who taught us have done PhD in their respective fields, they teach very well and it's mainly interactive-based learning. The exams were held frequently like we have unit tests every month and sem exams at the end.

Generally, students do internships in 3rd year and go for placements in 4th year but one can be eligible by fulfilling the criteria and can appear for placements.in 3rd also. The highest package is 1.8 crore and the average is around 34 lacs. The percentage of placements is 96% remaining are startups and etc. I'm gonna be doing a job and preparing for my masters

I didn't get any scholarship as my rank was not in the range for a scholarship. My fees for CSE is 4 lacs per year with hostel fees around 2 lacs which amounts to nearly 6 lacs per year this is definitely costly but according to me, it's worth it since you're gonna be getting a degree, a platform for projects, internships, job opportunities, placements, etc all slightly easier than other colleges.

We have many fests going on all around the year! Mainly Milan and Aarush which are the main fests. Milan is a cultural fest while Aarush is a tech fest. Milan is the biggest one, where people from all over the world are invited and perform here. Many well-known celebrities inaugurate the fest. There are vast varieties of books in the library you will find books of all kinds of genres and subjects. Classrooms have all amenities required for learning and teaching. There are many sports admissions going on, srm has its own teams in all sports which participate in state and national-level competitions.

Hostels are good compared to other colleges. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable to be in with attached bathrooms. Food is great, the quality is nice. Registration is done online, they'll provide a certain time for hostel bookings for everyone. You choose your room through booking, ac or non AC etc. Rooms are quite affordable.

I took the SRMJEE entrance exam and scored well my rank was around 3000, got courses like CSE with different specifications, so I opted for CSE. Eligibility for CSE course in SRM is securing a rank below 9000 in SRMJEE. Application forms are available on the official website. Details of Reservation benefits are also listed on the website.
