Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for B.Tech CSE basically for placements. Placement in this branch is very good and avg package is also high. This year's highest CTC was 1.2 CR which is very good. The faculty over here are very qualified but also strict. Exams are held here every month of the month and 15 days.

Internships Opportunities

Most of the reputed companies come to our campus. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, and Google recruit students with very good CTC. Students get a good amount of internship opportunities also. You can get ample amount of opportunities and internships if you have a good cv or resume.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good and have a huge recruitment percentage. Very huge companies do visit over here but there is only one drawback that vit Chennai and Vellore campuses have there placements here only in the Vellore campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hostel and mess fees are actually high. They should give you an option if you're not eating in a mess the avg amount should be returned to you after the year's end. I've been allotted a scholarship based on my VITEEE rank. As I was under 1000 rank I got 25% of fee waiver.

Campus Life

The annual fest has been named Riviera and it was very good including the stars. Most of the books you search for are there in the library. Sports and extracurricular activities are also provided over here. There are very different varieties of clubs a student can enroll in.

Hostel Facilities

Everything is provided in the room. Students are requested to buy a pillow and mattress basically. Mess food is good but I personally don't eat much in the mess. The registration process and any other processes are done on the website.

Hostel Fee: INR 158000 per year

Admission

You need to be ranked under 1 lakh to be qualified to get admission to VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai. The VIT application form is found on the official VIT website. The admission process is nonbiased. A separate website has been formed for the qualified students where they can see other information and can fill in the choices of course.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.
