Likes

The campus life is too good here.You get to know different people from different places around India.
The university has outstanding infrastructure with all the facilities required.
There are different slots, you can either choose morning classes or afternoon classes, its up to you.

Dislikes

FFCS, which might be very unfavourable to students sometimes
The hostel counselling process is a bit complicated since its based on ur CGPA
The population is rising every year. But they are trying to expand more and they building many blocks for it

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Science Engineering because I was interested in computers since my childhood. The ratio of faculty students is 1:10.All the faculties present here are well qualified and their teaching is good. We have two internal exams and the difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

There is no restriction about ding internships from VIT's side. You can do internships after 3r semester. You get opportunities within the campus itself and you can do it outside also. There are many companies that offer internships at VIT.

Placement Experience

The placements are excellents here.From the 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements.There are many companies that visited VIT. For eg Microsoft, google, amazon and indian companies like Wipro, Zoho, etc. The average package offered by vit is 8 lakhks per annum. The placement percentage of students is from 70 to 80 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure entirely depends on the marks you scored in the entrance exam. Based on the rank you acquired they will split the students into different categories. Each category has its own fee structure.

Campus Life

This is one of the best campuses out there. There is an annual fest called Riviera and a tech fest called Gravitas. We have Periyar library in which all the books are available. Each classroom has a smart board and labs with air conditioners. There is scope for all sports and there are gymnasiums with ac. There are many clubs and chapters in the university.

Admission

The admission process is similar to many other colleges. It does not require your 12th mark. The university has an entrance exam and the admission is based on ur mark in the exam. Then based on your marks scored there are different categories. The application form will be available on the university's official website itself.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
