What Students Say

Likes

The campus life is awasome and the people around are quite knowledgeable.
The faculties are understanding and they teach well.
They give importance to sports activities.

Dislikes

Because of the construction going on there isn't much place to roam around.
The dress code which is kind if conservative.
Not enough room to sut around college in your free time

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because of the scope and opportunities we have today. The faculty are good in terms of teaching and understanding both. They have a vast knowledge of the subject and are ready to help you with anything. As long as I know the qualification is a master's and Ph.D. but it varies from teacher to teacher. First, we have unit tests that carry internal marks of our overall subject. Throughout the semester we are busy with exams. And the difficulty level is moderate I'll say.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 3rd semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. There are more than 100 companies that visit our campus every year. Some of them are Amazon, cognizant, Microsoft, etc. The highest package provided last year was by a German company which was 1.1Cr and the average package is 1.5L. Around 80-85 percent of students get the placements every year. After getting the degree of course I'll go for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you're coming through a management quota then the fees are around 4L per year. But if you pass the exams and get selected and your rank is good then you will get from 25%-100% scholarship. The stipend at the start is around 10k.

Campus Life

The annual fest is huge here even though the budget is so high. The campus life is great. It's mostly conducted in March-April. The availability of books and journals is quite good. Everything classroom is provided with a projector and a green board. Sports and extracurricular activities are quite good here. There are many clubs here and the social life is also quite good.

Admission

Yes for SRM there is an entrance exam that is online and has 3 phases. The pattern is the same as jee mains and if you want a CSE set in this college your rank should be under 10k. The last phase has 2 rounds. Try to write the exam in the first two phases as the competition increases in the last.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
