Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B. Tech as I want to join Defence services, for that graduation is required and I think B.Tech is a technical degree and far better than other non-technical degrees. Some faculty members not seem to be trained properly or are not experienced, but some teachers are so good with great skills and a few of them give attendance for free as well.
Internships Opportunities
Various big companies come up here to take students, one of my cousins got an internship from Infosys in the 6th sem and got paid 20k for 6 months. Dream companies like Amazon, Accenture, and Microsoft also come here for Internships and job interviews.
Placement Experience
As I'm in my first year, I don't know much about the placements, but one of my cousins got placement in the 7th sem of B.Tech for a package of 7lac. There are many big MNCs that visit our college. last year one student got a placement of like 44 lacs from Amazon.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my batch are 1,65,000 /year, Hostel fees are based on the facilities, and Transportation fees are 32000 and 42000 per year. In 2023 the tuition fee is increased by the college to around 2lacs. But there are scholarships for students having good marks in their 12th. There is also an EMI system in fees, but I don't know much about that.
Campus Life
The biggest fest is JU-RYTHUM, is a 3-day fest comprised of various activities in which students can take part like sports events (tennis cricket, paintball, roadies, live ludo, etc. ), technical events(robo-fight, car racing, etc.) a cultural event at the end of each day, like in RYTHUM-2023 rapper Raftar came to perform at the show. Libraries are well maintained, and all types of books are available.
Admission
The admission process was so so simple. All you need to fill out the online application form and the college will contact you for Document verification via call or message (10th, 12th marksheet, Character certificate, Transfer Certificate, and all).
