Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have decided to choose this course (CS) as of my keen interest and also because this course provides better job opportunities in today's modern world. Subjects are good till know as of 2 years experience. I think faculty to student ratio is very good here almost 1:50 maybe. You can have better programming experience within this time frame as Every single faculty member of the course is well educated and have thorough knowledge of the subject but it depends upon you really whether you have to study in college or just come for attendance. Semester exams are held every sem once in a period of 4-5 months and its not much hard to pass the exam just solve 5-6 Previous year question papers and you are good to go.

Internships Opportunities

3

School students and students pursuing their graduation in various institutes also come to and pursue their Summer internships with the faculty members. One of the major internships is the vice chancellor internship which is done during the Summer break and takes 2 months stipend is 10000 per month. Many reputed companies like Wipro, EY GDS assurance, Concentrix Daksh and many others come to the college for placement drives. Some Elite projects are also done under these placements which are for the better development of the current software.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students after 2nd year can apply for a scholarship and if they work quite well there and they have major chances of being kept up by the companies from there. Mostly companies like wipro, EY GDS assurance, Concentrix Daksh, and LlaBSYS come for placement drives. My plans after my degree are in a different direction right now. To be precise I want to go for ssc cgl.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are paid annually for me Rs. 22965 which I think is quite good as compared to other colleges offering the same course and also it differs upon your caste or other reservations. The college also provides different scholarships one of the most famous scholarships in our college is the Vice Chancellor Scholarship where Stepend is 10000 per month for 2 months of semester break but it's only for 2nd, and 3rd-year students. you will get information regarding all scholarship-like stuff through your emails so don't worry about that. There is also a society founded by some students and teachers called Placement Cell. They also do their best to bring placements to college.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is well good till now. The first semester is literally all online but by the second semester, we all gotta chance to be social, and made many friends and life is very enjoyable So majorly Campus life is good but mostly it depends on you whether you want to enjoy yourself with others. Sports events held every year during January-March like Cricket, volleyball, Kabaddi, Race etc. which is also very good. Societies and clubs are interactive. I joined NSS which is the most active society of the College, and Dhwani which is the Theatre society (Drama) of the college has won many awards in different colleges. There are other societies like Dhun (Music Society), Tark (Debate Society), Paritantra (Eco Club), Maayra (Dance Society), Picfie (Photography Society), etc.

Admission

Fortunately for me, the entire process is like a piece of cake means easy peasy because of the timeframe of COVID.. Mostly all is done by my 12th marksheet. I didn't need to give any entrance exam so my admission process was quite easy and smooth. Everything was done in online mode. I just filled admission form from Delhi University's official website and then Faculty contacted via mail , we just needed to submit a soft copy of the required documents and pay the fee amount (reservations are also applied if applicable).

Other Applied Colleges

Shivaji College, Delhi | Other

Because i got better one which is ANDC, also it's NIRF ranking at that time is about 70 and ANDC has 21 so i choose this college.

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
