What Students Say

Likes

It's the amount freedom you have around the campus.
There are many scopes for your extra curricular activities inside the campus
You can easily check your attendance percentage in the official website.

Dislikes

It includes unrelavent subjects like human values etc.
Even though there are many good staffs few staffs are ineligible to be represented as a staff
I heard college hostels have worst services u have very little freedom for yourself

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course cause of the various opportunities available in this field. The faculties are all well-trained and friendly in nature. There will be two internal exams every semester and practicals combined with the end-semester exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There are only a few internship opportunities for internships but it is available for well-performing students. Stipends vary on your skills and the company you got the internship from. Based on your projects and cgpa your internships will be decided.

Placement Experience

3.5

Vipro, Zoho, TCS, and amazon have made offers in our college. The highest package is 16lpa and the average is 4lpa. Around 85 are getting placed every year. My plans for post-graduation are to apply for gate exams and apply for jobs outside of placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

You will get a scholarship only if you have high scores in the entrance exam conducted by the university. The fees will remain the same for all four years. If you have low marks in your board exams then it will come with a donation for the first year.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called yarona and it is conducted at the end of every year. There are various and it is compulsory to join any one of the clubs. The clubs also have various sports-oriented clubs and there is also a gym club.

Admission

The application form is available on the official website and the fees will be around 200 for that. The admission process is well organised but it can be a little rash due to many applicants. The eligibility for this course is to pass the board exam with decent marks. There is an entrance exam for fee concession.

Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every. One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

A Good College Experience with Opportunities for Learning and Growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I did my JEE mains preparation for 2 months and got 87.8 percentile but the cutoff for the year 2022 was 88 percentile for general category. I still had option to join various NITs for cse and other courses, but I have made my mind to study only aeronautical engineering. So I did some research and came to know about this college. I am saying this again. This college is the best for this course apart from IITs. But the faculties may not be what you expected. There are entrance exams but I personally think it's a scam. You will get a direct addmission in this college...Read More

Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

I had applied to SRM, VIT, KCG and SNU. I chose this college as it has a relaxed campus culture compared to other colleges, they also have international exposure which helps us migrate to other foreign universities for a semester exchange program. I was selected in SRM and VIT-AP but was rejected from SNU during the interview session and seat limitation, I would have gotten rejected as I wasnt confident in the interview session. The admission process at HITS is simple, you have to register for the HITSEEE exam from their website and its an exam that you can write from your house, the basic eligibilty is 10+2 with atleast 50 percent in maths, physics and chemistry, they also accept TNEA exam students and give direct admission to the NRI students. The cuttoff depends on the course and category and might vary based on reservations as well. The admission experience was pretty straightforward, post the confirmation mail about the rank after writing the HITSEEE exam, there will be a counselling session where we could choose our course and department based on our rank. There is also a management quota for students who wouldnt have performed well in the entrance exam and they are charged more fees than the others....Read More
