- Campus environment is pretty good as the infrastructure is pretty well maintained especially in our department

- Facilities in the campus are very limited for a central university
- Keralites are j majority here and yet are also the people with most fights among each other
- Faculty can be a bit pushy for research sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because the course offered involved knowledge of psychology from a scientific perspective and had a lot of field exposure. The ratio of faculty: to students is pretty good i.e. 1:33. All the faculties in the department are well-versed with in-depth knowledge of the subject. However, all the faculties focus more on research in psychology.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for ews and single girl child students. The fee structure is pretty good with a fee hike in odd semesters. The fee for unreserved categories doesn't go beyond 6500 for one semester.
Campus Life
The university does host an annual fest every year by the name of Ankur. It is conducted in the month of April every year. The campus also has a pretty big library filled with journals and books. The classrooms in our department have AC facilities and screens for enhancing the classroom experience. There is a multi-purpose Hall which provides many sports facilities. There are many students who run Instagram pages for the campus which can be easily accessed.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in the hostel are pretty small for the number of people living in them. Some rooms In the same hostel building have 8 to 10 people living in them. This is the same building that doesn't even have closed cupboards. There are no AC rooms so there is no way of escaping the scorching heat of Karnataka on weekends when the department is closed.
Admission
The admission was done through cucet exam and the results came in October. The application forms can be found on the official website of NTA. The admission criterion involves a minimum of 45% in 12th board exams in any field of study.
