- The rat race culture at srcc is very bad like everyone is on the same direction and wanting to get achieve something.
- There is very a chance when students can actually enjoy there college life. We are all overburdened with assignments and stuffs.
- About infrastructure, the seminar is quite small, with seating capacity of only 400 students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my graduation in the finance field only. So doing B.Com honors was the best option I could see. The faculty here at src is really nice. All the teachers are quite supportive and informative. We as students are very blessed to have them. Most of the teachers have done either Ph.D. or are CA by qualification. The end sem exam which we had to give was after the passage of 4 months.
Internships Opportunities
Our placement cell is quite active in providing internships to students in the second year. We as students get a lot of opportunities for doing internships. The internships are also sometimes at Big 4, which is a very good start to the career.
Placement Experience
The placements at our college are very promising. With 10.5 lakhs per annum yearly to 40 lakhs per annum as its highest placements. Every big 4 comes to our college and picks the best candidate among all. My plans after getting the degree are also to secure a high-paying job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of SRCC are high compared to the rest of the colleges at Delhi University. The fees for one year are around 30000, which only includes tuition fees and other additional fees. For hostel fees, we have to submit separately which is about 80000 per year. The college does not provide any scholarships from the side. There are some scholarships from DU.
Campus Life
Life at SRCC is very competitive, everyone around is up to something like everyone is doing something big in their life. Some are doing CA some are going for civil services others are preparing for CAT. The other ones are planning to sit for placements. The vibe of the college is quiet and calming. At SRCC, there are a lot of fests and cultural events every now and then.
Admission
The admission process was very hectic, to be honest. We had to give a CUET examination which was conducted for the first time, earlier there wasn't any entrance examination like this. So we had no idea of how it will be going conducted, or what level of questions will be asked. So we all gave the examination in a very hasty manner and luckily cleared the cutoff and got the college.
