Remarks

This is my third year and i wont faced any problem but little bit of lack of discipline among some students is so embarrasing and annoying for all the students and teachers.

Entrance Preview

Admission to this college will be on merit basis that is on 12th percentage. According to my course and my 12th percentage this college fits in my particulars. I have not decided the course i m pursuing but it is a good course and i am satisfied

Course Curriculum Overview

That was a very good course including physcs chemistry maths including practicals so that we can be in touch with all the subjects

Internships Opportunities

College has an internshio cell also in which various internship opportunities are provided to the students giving them an experience which is going to helo yhem a lot.There are free and paid internship both.we enjoyed a lot while participating in internship projects

Placement Experience

Placement cell is made in the college called as training and placement cell. From past year good companies are visiting in the college and taking up few students as per their criteria. Percentage is very less as this only a graduation college.

College Events

There are so many events fests and performance of different societies held at regular intervals making the college enviroment very enjoyful. Student union takes the responsibility of all the events by the funds provided by the university. They were organised in proper manner sometimes rush of the students makes it difdicult to manage but somehow end is good

Fee Structure And Facilities

10000 a year..Affordable for All without any hidden charges and fees varies from course to course for some courses it is 5k per year. All facilities are provided within this fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarship to foreign students and students whose parents are in BSF. No i dont avail any scholarship. No need to take loan as the fees structure is less.

Campus Life

Different types of events such as talent hunts quiz rotaract events are taking places in the college and its a very wonderful experience participating in all of that . we have a lot of fun in these showcasing some of our talents

Hostel Facilities

No hostel facility is available here...so students has to stay in PGs Rooms in sharing or single and for locals they are with their families in their own house

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini are of very freindly nature. We can share our problems and difficulties without any hesitation to the. College do provide a good platform for the interaction of student and alumin. Alumini do their best to bring the best out of the college

Exam Structure

Not to worry about exams just take regular classes and you will face none of problem regarding exams

Mostly the teachers are permanent but they are very good in teaching and are freindly too and the seniors teachers are very cooperative with us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Firstly the college is affordable any one can take admission
There is not too much social interaction

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Likes

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Intro to DSEU

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.

Likes

The things i liked in my college is the teching faculty provided. They have a good experience of teaching with mny research papers which have been published by them.
The second best thing is the college amenities like library and society. You will get every book required for you curriculum in the college library incuding few magzines too. The society will help you to develop other soft skills.
The most important part of college life are webinars where we interact with someone big professional like Dr. H. C. Verma sir who once visited in our college aur big faces too. Sports events, skills webinar, Cultural events makes the overall experien

Dislikes

A little bit old infrastructure can a point that is disliked by us and many students. As everyone wants to be a part of a new and good looking college
Lack of hostel facility in the college campus is a major issue. Specially for those students who are not able to accommodate in the Flats/PG due to thier financial status. But the new building will be available with all the facilities within few year

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

College Life Through Real Experience

I am in DU but the DU has many colleges under it and my college is one of them. I have applied for other colleges also but we can choose which college we want to go ourself it happens through CUET after that we get our college through our preference list and marks.I also got choosen in BHU and many other ones but choose this to get new experience and wider perspective about things as Delhi is very popular and people want to study here .I didn't get selected to other colleges under DU that was on my preference list was due to the cut off as cutt off for DU north campus university are very high and seats are less also many seats are reserved and there are quotas also.The cut off for South Campus are in between 650-550 that's how i get my college.The the admission occurs in rounds you can upgrade if you are not satisfied with your college but at one point you cannot upgrade as per your marks that is the suitable colkege you can get.CUET is the most preffered exam and to get into big government universities you have to give this .There are also universities that give admissions without CUET many private universities come under this category....Read More

Okay, so this is a very interesting story at my time. There was an introduction of an entrance exam called CUET, where I appeared for written and I scored basic 690÷8000 we were told to make a reference list, according to this marks, we have obtained Obviously I wouldn't have chosen this college because it is a part of South campus. I have preferred all the north campus colleges over the South campus colleges, but having hard luck, I got this one. I was not happy to come here because I basically not belong to this place but When I have made friends over here, I have introduced to the teachers and introduced to the college environment now I feel good. Even I thought about the migration process but again and luckily it didn't happen. Yes, now I have money left. Applied and admitted to desh andhu college. But selected Sri Aurobindo college due to favorable course available in this college. No, I have not been rejected from any other college.
