What Students Say

Likes

College if full of greenery so we have good air to breathe.
Teachers are experienced and good in their respective fields.
There is literally no ragging from seniors.

Dislikes

Classes gets cancelled most of the time because students don't attend classes.
College is not well developed comparison to its area.
Classes are repaired fully and some chairs are still broken.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well, I chose BBA because I always had a keen interest in management studies and economics. The students in my class are 65 where 30 are girls and 35 boys. Faculty teachers are good and well experienced in our course. We have 2 major exams in 1st year. The difficulty is not very high but also very easy.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are some internships that are offered to us, some are COMPLAIN INTERNSHIP and Others which I don't clearly remember. Their stipend bracket was 6000 -8000. per month. Their project was based on our skills and abilities to solve problems.

Placement Experience

I think after 2nd year students can apply for campus placements. I don't know any companies name that have visited but there are a couple. The highest package was 8lac and the average package is around 5-6 lac.40-50% of students get placements. My plan after doing BBA is to prepare for the CAT exam and take admission to high reputated MBA college.

Fees and Financial Aid

One year of BBA course fees is 70000 which is divided into 2 semesters. We also can apply for scholarships through our college where we get back 50 percent of 1-year fees back. The name of the scholarship is UP SCHOLARSHIP. There were many part-time works for us where we were getting 5000 to 8000 per month.

Campus Life

We have an annual fest happening called College Dunia fest. They were conducted in the month of April. We also have a library in our college where we could avail any subject books easily. We also have smart room classes. There are many activities that happen like sports, dancing, singing, etc. There are also student groups of specific talents like sports groups, dancing groups, etc.

Admission

Eligibility process was through entrance exam.the entrance exam application form which was on the official Lucknow University website. Application fees was 500? and additional 100? for submission. The submission date was from Aug12 to Nov25. The cut off was easy in my opinion. Although everything was great but there was a great delay in entrance test.

Overall experience at Galgotias University

Likes

The campus life in Galgotias is appreciable with a lot of clubs, different events happening daily and the overall student culture.
There are dedicated labs for every department whether management or technical.
Practical learning and active classrooms make students ready for real world jobs.

Dislikes

Sometimes the timetable is not very likeable because of huge gaps between classes.
Different weak offs are not nice, i.e., the university is open all 7 days and there are classes on Saturday and Sunday as well.

Placement Experience:

Galgotias University has high placement rates with the placement rates for this year being 5500+ offered jobs. The highest package was 60LPA and average was 6LPA. There are a vast varities of companies which offer placement from technical background till management background.

I will appreciate the teachers support and hardwork for students
My environment of college is good that engage me and i can easily concentrate on my stufy
My more faculty are ugc net qualified and the comcept that they use in teaching are very amazing

Dislikes

I think they need some extra awarness in student for job and placement
They need to improve learning facilicities like smart board wifi
They dont have to change faculty for any subject early

1. The company come in my college for placement any year student can give interview 2. In last month the compqny jio,airtel,dominoz came for hiring students 3. The highest pqvkage of my college is 54 lakh and the average is 4 lakh

The Placement of our College is quite good just because the university open recently on year 2021. The Average Placement is 4,00,000 per annum. And Higher Placement is 8,00,000 per annum. There is many companies who visited in our college like Suzuki,Eefco, Reliance,etc

My college have a good infrastructure classrooms is also very spacious have a library
Regular activities also get conducted The college frequently organises workshops seminars and events
Very supportive and knowledgeable Faculty. Collage also give practical exposure and updated learning environment

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college are decent with many opportunities. Many big companies came to our campus like Decathlon, times now Placements packages of these companies were almost 4-5 lac. It mainly focuses on making students industry ready Also our colleges have a seprate Placement cell which handles all these placements In case of limited collage placement the collage still supports students by improving their employability thorough workshops internships and guidance

Likes

The facility are highly experienced and cooperative.
Regular organising of master classes, workshops, activities, etc.
Campus is well equipped with facilities like computer labs, seminar hall, etc.

Dislikes

No night life , focus is more on attendance and punctuality

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated training and placement office which provides excellent internships as well as placement opportunities. Various companies visits our campus like Amazon, Wipro, Times, etc generally around 85% of the students who opt for got placed. The average package varies from 5 to 6 lakhs. I have done various certification courses like life skills and personality development. The placement cell of my college is very active. Pooja Ma'am also takes regular workshops on Cv building. Our seniors were well placed by my college, and also praise the placement team of our college that helped them to reach their career goals and destinations. Pooja Ma'am personally guided me to build my CV atleast 5 times that made my profile academically suitable.

Exploring academics, campus life and professional growth: A student's perspective

Likes

I loved how faculties are friendly and supportive.
I like the overall environment of the students.
Opportunities for cultural fest technical events clubs and sports poster overall development and teamwork.

Dislikes

More one on one career guidance and support us required.
There are subjects are more theoretical with fewer hands on projects.
Labs could be improve for better learning experience.

The curriculum is academically and professionally relevant in the sense of academically core concepts. The syllabus integrates industry relevant scale the college also organises master classes. The college can include more case studies and life projects.

Likes

The office staff is very good and helps in every problem that is faced by a child and provides solution for that.
The teachers are supportive and helps students with great conceptual lectures.
The campus has a huge area and gymnasium and big grounds are available for physical fitness and games.

Dislikes

The toilets are not clean and it should be taken care of because it looks very unhygienic.
There are some students who come to college just for making the environment bad and also the College ID is not checked so anyone can enter the campus easily.
The fans and benches for students are very old and should be changed because it cause discomfort for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students are eligible for Placements. Wipro TATA INFOSYS Accenture ICICI bank Mahindra Are the some companies where studets gets placed. It think the highest package was 20 LPA and lowest package is 2.4 LPA. 25- 30 percent students are placed. My plan is to persue MBA after getting the BBA degree while doing a job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BBA is the professional course which give you exposure to learn about corporate world so anyone who wanted to do business and work in corporate line can join. The faculty is also very good here all the faculty are holder of doctorate degree. The difficulty of term exam is not very hard if you have studied then can get pass very easily

Good Faculty but not so good placement

The addmission process is very simple, you need to give JEE mains examination and then you need to participate in UPTAC counselling.
