Hostel rooms are good and I liked the balcony view from our room
Class rooms are good with all the needed amenities
Library is also full of books that you can read to develop your skill .

I have also opted cse but I didn't get so I have taken ece. Faculty-student ration is decent. Faculty are experienced and are good at teaching. Exams are mids and sems that are conducted,2 mids 1 sem exam

They are eligible once they enter third year btech and the student exchange programme is also conducted every year. The highest package is 42 lpa for ece average will be around 12 lpa. 88 per cent of students get placed every year. I will also try to get a placement good for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

Studying here is a matter of money, fees are higher but when compared to iiith it's good and for the course, they have offered it's worthy. I have taken an educational loan to join in the college and paid the fee I will recommend the same to all

Campus Life

Tech fests are mainly 2 vashisht,samgatha which are conducted every year now on our campus, we are going to conduct a 5g adoption tech fest "5URGE", Tech fests are well maintained by the campus administration. The library is vast and there are many books available like aptitude development, subject knowledge development, and self-development books which are useful for the students for their future. The classroom is digitalised there will be a projector, and screen and the classroom will be big enough to accommodate all the students. Sports competitions are also held on our campus to make students free from stress due to the academic curriculum and music, dance, cricket, and badminton are the other extracurricular activities. Social service clubs and language learning clubs are there on the campus to help the students.

Admission

You need to appear for the jee mains exam to join in this campus and should get 98 percentile or above. You can opt for the college in option given in the jee exam online option. I didn't avail of any reservation. All are good during admission

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Likes

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

In my college the placement training was going for seperate student
They have a lot of celebrations for the student instead of the college days

They have worst infrastructure of college

The transportation to the college is slightly hard

But i shifted it to down and kept iiitdmk up..I chose this as it was the only college with Smart Manufacturing. IIIT Kancheepuram- Best in terms of Academics!!!

I chose this college over other colleges because it has an NIRF ranking of range 100 to 150. Secondly it is a government college.Its placement is far better than other colleges I was getting. I was getting a secured seat in CSE in IIIT Sricity but ECE of IIITDMK is far better than CSE of IIIT Sricity.
