What Students Say

Likes

I like hostel experience and placements.

Dislikes

If you asked your hostel related doubts to your warden they are not good enough to answer you.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE core because placements are excellent in this course. Teacher and student ratio is not good but if you ask your doubts personally then they will help. Most of the teachers are postgraduates or even PhDs and if you listen to them properly then you will get good marks. 3 cycle tests and 1 final exam have been conducted and the questions are easy to moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

At the time of your 6th semester, you will receive an internship form from your faculty advisor. The Minimum stipend for an internship will be 20000 per month. There are types of internships offered in placements. ILP means internship leads to placement in this you will get a full-time role based on your internship performance. ICP means internship cum placement that means you will guarantee to get a full-time offer.

Placement Experience

For CSE(all branches) and ECE there is no problem in placements but if you are looking for other branches then there are very less companies. In my batch, 5000+ offers were there. Highest package was 42 LPA(on-campus) and 57 LPA(off-campus). Almost 95% got placed. I have chose placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2023 tuition fees for CSE is a minimum of 400000 and hostel fees are a minimum of 120000. If you get a 10 cgpa every semester then you will get a scholarship based on your srmjeee rank. The average package was 8 LPA and almost everyone got placed in CSE(all branches).

Campus Life

4.5

There are two annual fests one is Aarush and the other is Milan. Aarush is a tech fest and Milan is a cultural fest. You can find books and journals in the library easily. There is one event hostel daze where sports are conducted between hostels. There are many clubs where you can join and present your skills.

Admission

You need at least 60% in physics, chemistry, and maths individually in the 12th class. You can apply for SRMJEEE from the university's official website generally, they are conducted around March-April but check once before applying. The admission process was easy.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
