Remarks

There are no bad remarks for my college and I have teachers who will take care of us as our parents does University which is like a home for us and waterfall experience at home cannot be delivered in words.

I have joined general University of Karnataka by attend the entrance exam CUK CET which is known as Central University of Karnataka common entrance test.. Because I am pursuing is BA economics it is very nice course..

Course Curriculum Overview

The word course and curriculum sounds and sounds well and it has great influence on any institution because the course in curriculum is the foundation of a in station and our university of Karnataka have good course and curriculum designed by the best Minds we have at the Central University of Karnataka.

Internships Opportunities

We can do internships depending upon our interest until now I didn't have any experience with the internship facility and the average stipend amount we cannot decide this things because the internships that don't provide any stipend sometimes because it is a knowledge gaining place for the students some companies don't care give the stipend amount.

Placement Experience

The placement where is at the root level of it Foundation and it is trying to build up as a plant to tree and I strongly believe with no time or university will bring the placement opportunities for the students

College Events

Entrepreneurship Summit was held in our college were really nice and many other events like Dandiya night also takes place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is really very much affordable to all of the students and I really appreciate the university for the kind of FIFA sality they are providing us because it is only 11000 per semester and olive oil it will be like 22000 per year.

Exam Structure

The exams are frequent and the makers tired but still they are for our sake only.

Campus Life @ Central University of Karnataka

Likes

The campus was too good in its environment.
The exposure was too good with good library facilities.
We can socialise with Pan Indian exposure

Dislikes

Hostel facilities was not well maintained
Hostel food was not that much good sometimes
College was situated in a rural place, it was so hard to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

Likes

The quality of teaching for my course - BA Economics (Hons) is exceptional. The professors give quality time with each student to ensure concepts are clear and go beyond the surface level teaching of all concepts.
Every student gets their own mentor, who is a professor within the University who will help you guide yourself through everything, ranging from academic difficulties to personal grievances. There are regular sessions scheduled with these mentors..
There is plenty of freedom in the university. Unlike other university's there is no strict dress code or unreasonable rules for the students to follow. The campus allows each indivitual to be true to themselves.

Dislikes

The campus is very far from the city, making it difficult to have any sort of weekend get aways to the city tiresome. There are very few places around the campus that will let you experience city life.
The university does not encourage competitive spirit festivals like youth festivals apart from sports. Hence narrowing down the avenues where students can get certificates for extra curriculars to add on to your CVs
Academic rigor can get too overwhelming sometimes and one may not get time to study for other parallel exams for masters like GMAT, CAT, GRE etc. Finding time for extra curriculars may also get difficult.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Insight into KJC by a real life student

Likes

The campus is a plus. It's really clean and green. They really take care of the cleanliness of the Campus. As for the girls to boys ratio, in my class there are more girls than boys. Idk much about college overall.
I like my professors a lot. But it's all about luck. I got nice ones.
We have LMS in college. So we are provided with notes and syllabus online that we can use anytime we want.

Dislikes

The administrative office is very annoying sometimes. Just to answer one question they send the students to different offices and waste our time.
I don't understand the dress code system. I mean it's good but girls are not allowed to wear long skirt. I'm not talking about short clothes. But even long skirts are not allowed.
I would say I dislike the locality sometimes. It's not that developed so there's always something kind of construction going on which causes a lot of pollution and breathing problem specially for me with breathing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.
