Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This was a well-going course at that current time. Faculties were so good. I was even a pet student to one of my teacher named Mr. Anandha Krishnan who took English class for us. He encourgaed, helped in many ways in my college. Every faculties were well qualified with post graduate degress and well experienced. Each faculties teaching methods were different, each students like each one of'em so nobody was doing bad. Also they provide us proper notes for the syllabus, referred quite easy books from the library. 3 mid-term exams were conducted per semester. 2 semesters per year. Mid-terms were always tough than semesters, I personally feel. It's like a revision tests before the big dates. But we did well in mid-terms, we don't have to worry about semesters. So it's diffcult but paid me well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Totally I got 2 Internship programs while studying. One is Six Sigma Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. They offered roles in Project Development Division with not much stipends. The another one is Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). They offered Inplant Training wiht not much stipends or big roles but just shown us how the whole office works and it's process.

Placement Experience

2.5

After 7th semester, we're got offered in campus interviews. Not many companies were brought before we made a strike/protest, but after that and a teacher-parents meeting, they pulled some more companies to give offers.HCL was the big name for our batch, all others were small companies compared to HCL. I wasn't selected in Campus interviews, because I attended only 2 companies due my arrears, I'm not eligible to attend. The highest package in period was 5L and average was 3.5L.

Fees and Financial Aid

I feel my college was not too much or too less compared to all other collegs nearby. As I'm a daily scholar I can't complain about hostel or mess fee. Also I didn't took college transportation also, so I can't particularly comment on it though. But from my knowledge with my hostel friends, the fee was ok, but the quality is not A grade. Eventhough, my caste community got a scholarship I wasted it because I didn't apply in the correct time so I've missed it. But some of my friends got benefited well, which is a good thing for a student. I'm not a bright student, but I've completed my degree in first class. E

Campus Life

4

Life in campus was always unforgettable. I hope lotta students would feel the same. Fests in our campus would be amazing. It's totally knowledge sharing. We got some internship opportunites also to experience some new environments. There was a big library while I joined the course, but after 2 years, they upgraded a much bigger one which has all department books, magazines & journals. Classroom environment was good enough and pleasant.

Admission

I got 143 cut-off marks which is quite eligible for the course I've choosen. Basic eligibility differs from college to college. In my college, students whomsoever got 120 cut-off marks were eligible for this course. No particular entrance exam was conducted for our batch. We just got admissions by filling application forms, paying application fees in the dates they provided in college office area. It was just a half-a-day process. I got admission via counselling so I don't undergone the reservation process like many of us. My College is perfect in the admission process. I can even tell a miraculaous thing happened to me. Initially I didn't get seat in CSE department because the seat was filled before I get into it. So I took IT department, I know it wasn't make a big difference in subjects. But after a week my college told one seat was left in CSE department finally due 2 sections. I got a second chance to grab cse department. So I'm very glad.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
