Remarks

This is the best college in Banglore I guess to do a commerce based post graduation. It is located in electronic city main road, i.e, in the highway towards Tamil Nadu. It is the best college to be in.

Entrance Preview

The college merit seat allotment is through PGCET. The college also encourages payment seats. I secured the lowest PGCET rank among all the students who joined this college so I had an good acknowledgeable interview the college dead.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen MBA. This helped me getting a good job in an international bank. The college also PG courses like M.Com and MCA. MBA didn't include much of practical learning. It's more of applications regarding business administrations.

Internships Opportunities

The college do provides internship. I didn't pursue any internship as i got my placement before I finished my 4th semester. The internship opportunities provided by the college is much of help for the students.

Placement Experience

I got placed in an international bank. It was in Deutsche Bank AG, a German bank. The college placements really worked so well for me. My starting package with the company was a 3 lakh package.

College Events

The time i graduated from this college, it was one of the most famous college in the whole of Banglore known well for it quality education and mainly their activities and events. They conduct a lot of fun, entertaining and academic events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mine was a merit seat through PGCET and my fee was really affordable in the year 2007. My total fee excluding hostel and food fee was around 15,000 to 20,000.

Hostel Facilities

The college hostel rooms are really cool. As awesome are the rooms so worst is the food.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty

This college faculty really does great in the lecture classes. The whole staff that taught in all the four semesters were at least experienced for 15 years. Their interest to teach is what made me feel its the best faculty I ever had.

ISME: THIS IS ME !!

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

My kcet rank was 26k and in my mock allotment i got Dayanand sagar University. But I thought universities are not good and I should join colleges under VTU .
