Course Curriculum Overview

4

Top standard curriculum and exams. Very tough to be a 9-pointer unless you study daily. 60:3 faculty ratio. Teaching methods aren't upto the standard, especially for the lab-based courses. Exams are continuous assessments, mid-term and end-semester examinations. You can score well if you study all the covered topics on the same day.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships have a minimum GPA requirement, if you are good enough in all semesters and flexible with the syllabus then you can fetch an Internship easily in the third year itself and you can continue further in the fourth.

Placement Experience

4

If you are good, then it's a cakewalk to fetch the job. There are approximately 200 companies visiting campus for placement and CSE has the best placement among these. More than 90% of students get placed easily here

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee is the same as other top universities. Scholarships are of four types 3 slabs and one non-scholarship slab. Each slab has a different cutoff. All banks provide loans if we need them once we show the admission letter.

Campus Life

4

The main fests are Gokulashtami and Anokha(tech fest). Tech Fest happens in even semester in the second half of the semester. It has workshops, cultural, etc. There are a lot of clubs on campus providing exposure for different fields like IT, Culturals, Mech etc. Very good classrooms (BYOD). A huge library is there.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels and Mess aren't upto the mark. They have mediocre standards in here. Only veg in mess. The egg is available only in one canteen. The hostel doesn't have any special facilities. Just a room and no attached bathroom

Admission

It has an AEEE as an entrance exam, and the cutoff rank for CSE in Coimbatore is somewhere near 700-800 (last slab). There is a home quota as well so, that cutoff is near 3000. It's a long process compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
