Remarks

There is Wi-Fi on campus but not in the hostel. You have to use LAN cables for the Internet in hostels. Classrooms were pretty big and almost 50% of the classrooms had AC available. There was a central library which usually opens till 12:00 midnight. The medical card is given to each student at admission time for free treatment. The food is good in hostel canteens. Overall, I did not face any issue with the infrastructure.

Entrance Preview

To enter this institution I have not written any entrance exam I have directly entered by the sports feild.I have been asked to attained a small interview process.as my own interest I took this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum at our time was a little tough, now it is a little easy.practical learning is also done almost. No Amy research are taken in this campus.

Internships Opportunities

Yes insteship are also given by the institution.Internships are available through the college with a stipend of nearly 10 to 17 thousand.

Placement Experience

3

Minimum criteria for placement is 55-60%. Average salary offered is around 2.5 lakhs. Various companies like Cognizant, Accenture, Atlas, Copco, Cummins, Tata Motors, Amdocs, etc. comes for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes fee structure is quite unhappy.I am also not affordable to pay the fee structure as I am paying 1.2LPA which is only for the accadmeics fee.

Faculty

4.5

the most advanced and dynamic faculty members are here to any other department. Most the professors have done their Ph.D. Every teacher is very helpful regarding studies and other research activities. The faculty members have knowledge about their specified subjects. They always inspire and motivate us to do better, something new and different than the ordinary.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
