Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because it is one of the popular courses for a student of commerce. I would say that the faculty is good they teach about courses and also other life-changing small things. Proper faculty are allotted to a given number of students, so the faculty-to-student ratio is average. All teachers are experts in their field as they have PhD in their field. They generally use practical methods to teach concepts. There are unit tests after completing a unit. It is not too hard as every concept is discussed in class and tests are basically focused on how students understand the concept.

Placement Experience

2.5

I can't say because there is a college society named Placement Cell which I think provides placement. There are a lot of companies like Flipkart, Oyo, blinkit, etc. which have visited and till now 5 offers have been made from where I have joined the college. The highest package was 20 lakh per annum and the average is 7-8 lakh per annum. I have planned to get placement from college after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for bcom hons 2023 is as follows: FEE FOR GEN/SC/OBC /ST/KM/CW/ EWS- 15906 for 1st year and 15151 for subsequent years. Fees for PWD are 125 for 1st year and then 120 rupees for subsequent years. As for my job, I don't get any opportunity for a stipend but may expect it in the future.

Campus Life

2.5

I am a fresher it's only been a month since I got into college so till now no fest has been conducted. Books are available in the library including course books, frictional books, biography, etc. There is a separate building for sports named Sports Complex which has a wide variety of games to offer. It also has a gym for both boys and girls. There are many you know as an Instagram page named ramjas confessions is run by students

Admission

To get admission to BCom(Hons) in Ramjas you have to take a common University entrance test (cuet). The papers to be given are accountancy, business studies, economics, and English. You can find the form on cuet.samarth and at my time fees were 1500 for 7 subjects. Yes, there is a better benefit of obc reservation you get less cut-off to get admission. I will say that all admission procedures are online so it helps in maintaining transparency. No need for improvement in the admission process.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.
