Experience of studying in a growing University

University is very good , with its own way of campus life. It has a very good atmosphere for study purpose . Management needs to be improved considering from a student perspective . If I draw a conclusion of this University , if you want to do good in your carrier focusing on a good research experience then you must go for this University.

University conducts its own exam for admission to various different post graduation course. Now on present scenario competition has increased so to take admission it needs to get a good score in the entrance examination. This University has a very good environment for study purpose.

There are various post graduation course in Arts and also Science ,along with post doctoral programs. Course structure in all departments is mainly made keeping an on the NET syllabus . Various courses have their own processing . Science department are very much in to research work . ARTS departments are good at research work mainly focused on field work related research.

Yes, college do provide internship. But the stipend is very less or you may not get stipend for your internship. Internship in various science department is very good as all the lab are fully equipped with various modern instruments . Arts department are very much keen in providing internship to various students.

In terms of placement this University comes a long way . Now a days various biotech companies are providing job to life science students. There are MBA and MCA students are in various good places thorough campus placement . In arts subject there is no much scope in getting placement through campus placement .

Various events have been observed. Since it a old University there is various cultural and athletic meet event occurs . Various festival like holi .Ganesh puja , Saraswati puja had been observed Apart from all these annual function , sports competition occurs every year with in first two months . Participation in all the events by students is very much eye catching, a lot of students participate in each event.

Considering fee structure it is not that expensive and not that low . But in comparison to other state government University here fee structure is little high . Hostel fees and admission fees are very high in comparison with other state universities. But in comparison with private universities it is very low.

University has no scholarship of its own. But students studying here can avail various state government provided scholarships. Various state government scholarship includes prerana, higher education scholarship ,ima scholarship . Through all these scholarships you can get 10000- 24000 per year.

Students ratio count will make girl in a higher rank . Here girl students are more in comparison to boys strength. Campus is 14 km away from the main city . culture society is there in which secretary is every elected by students who conducts various cultural events . Political influence is very less in this University and campus politics is not affected by different political parties . Here students are various part of Odisha . A very few students aare from neighbouring states. Workshops are organised every year by various departments and national seminar are conducted by all the departments every year . University has been drawing attention from the UGC for its increasing performance day by day . It is getting funds for various projects and different projects for the development of the University is already in operation.

The hostel is very good in comparison to other universities in terms of cleanliness and food. The mess is very good, cleaned every day. In the hostel, there are two seated rooms. Rooms are good for two students with provided table chair and bed light. Hostel fees are little higher, it costs around 10000 per year Food is provided two times a day and the mess charge is around 1500 every month.

Yes, the alumnis are very helpful. Alumni network is very good . There is alumni association through which all alumnis are connected with each other along with the students of the University . There very helpful in showing the good Path to students and helping them to get rid of the barriers those they have faced after passing from the University whether it is in the form of getting placement or getting seats for further higher studies.

Exam format is semester wise. End semester exam is there at every end of the semester. Internal exams are also there during each semester. For science is very much hectic schedule for the students as they have to manage their whole time with the lab work and class studies. In Arts course, their project works very well with much interest in the practical exposure of each student.

For admission the application procedure is through online. You have to pay requisite fees for the entrance exam . Entrance exam is also online. Thera ate 3-5 centre for exam in Odisha only . Form usually release every year in june-july month. Process has been developed from offline to online and you have to everything online.

All faculty is very good and highly educated. Faculty members are qualified from various reputed universities and institutions. The various faculty is also qualified from various foreign universities. Faculty members are mostly assigned to teach in the field of their specialization topic.
