What Students Say

Likes

Loved the campus life, exposure, competition in the college,
Best campuslife you can get in SRM you will create memories
Placement infrastructure and course is nice if you are sincere

Dislikes

Too much high fees, more intake of students
Many restrictions in campus especially for girls
competition is high if you wnat good Placement you have to be extraordinary

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am damn interested in coding hackathons, and hacking. Faculty student ratio is good teachers give attention if we ask. Teachers are experienced and the teaching method is ok. Term exams ate regularly every month test and not that hard to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like JPMorgan, and Samsung provide internships as a role of software developers, AI problem solvers, and data engineers with good stipends of like above 50k. I am a fresher so I haven’t done any such big project.

Placement Experience

From the 4th sem, students become eligible for placement. Many big companies like Adobe, Samsung, JP Morgan, and amazon visit the college. The highest international package last year was 1.1cr and the domestic was 70 lacs. Our college offers 100% placements. My plan is to do a startup after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is costly and they take exam fees too before every exam. I am a fresher but there are scholarship schemes if we have good cgpa also scholarships for army students. And more than 1k companies visit college for placement.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at campus is very good big anyi ragging campus Asia's biggest auditorium and one of the biggest libraries where we can study till midnight 12 o'clock. Classrooms are air conditioned many sports activities and grounds are there. And more than 100 clubs.

Admission

Eligibility was 60% PCM aggregate in class 12th to get admission we had to give srmjee exam they have an exam in three phases it's difficult to get cse after 1st phase as maximum seas get filled. They should decrease the intake.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
