What Students Say

Likes

Campus is really good, has a very good canteen. Pretty spacious.
There are many shops nearby that are accessible
Most of the faculties are really genuine

Dislikes

The campus placements are really hard to get
Some teachers dont take class at all and are inexperienced.
Some of the rules that are in place, dosent even make sense. The dress code is really strict

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is pretty good. Some faculty members teach really well. If you are going to opt for a course, where math is included, your math classes will be covered there. But for other subjects, some faculties may not teach. But at the end of the day, it is college and you are expected to study by yourself.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are the most frequent companies like TCS, WIPRO, HCL, and ADOBE. but most of the time the students are required to search for internships on their own. However the college does provide internships in the pre-final year.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are offered here. These campus placements range from 4L, an average of 6 lakhs to even 42 lakhs, which is one of the highest placement salaries. The major companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, and many others visit here for campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying the same fees from the start, but some students with lower marks are definitely paying more. It all depends on your marks. Scholarships are surely given about 40k to 50k, depending on the percentage you get in 12th grade.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is nice. There is no ragging for 99 percent of the time. There are always security guards and other securities in order to refrain students from ragging each other. The classrooms are good, and the library has a lot of books which can be borrowed.

Admission

There is an exam called SRMJEE, which is an entrance eligibility exam for filtering out students. If you can score the cut-off mark in SRMJEE, you will be admitted as per the marks. There are also reservation-type seats, where without writing the entrance exam, you can reserve seats on a first cum first-serve basis.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
