What Students Say

Likes

I like faculty knowledge and experience in SRM University they have very good knowledge in their respective field. And they understand the problem of students and provide a good solution to the students.
Their campus life because they have very good amenities and campus. Canteens grounds transport services is very good in SRM University.
Sports complex is very good in SRM University and availability of equipment.

Dislikes

Mess food is not good in SRM University Hostel.
Hostel life is also not good in SRM University.
They didn't provide ac in classes and temperature of chennai is to High so ac is required in classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Cse course is good in the engineering field. The faculty and student ratio is good in SRM University. The faculty is extremely good in my college SRM University they provide good professors but the student ratio is high. The faculty is postgraduate. Exam is held every month Like organize 3 CT exams as internal and 1 University exam as external. It was quite difficult to pass for students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 315000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visit and provide internships and placements to students. Internships and placement provide those companies have some criteria Like student's cgpa skills and many more things. After getting placed company gives a work accordingly to his or her knowledge.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement in 7 semesters. The highest package is 52 lakh in 2022 and the average package is 6 lakh in 2022. Many companies visited SRM University to hire a student. 100%. Went for a placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost was too high to study at SRM University. Fees were high so I suggest to reduce fees. The scholarship is provided if you secure a 1-20 rank in the entrance exam and maintain a 9 cgpa and 90% attendance. Otherwise, your scholarship will be canceled.

Campus Life

They organised a one-event texus annually. Books are provided Every semester, and a library is also available in the college. The classroom is very good. Sports facilities are good in SRM and they have a badminton court, basketball court, and cricket net. Many clubs are run at SRM University.

Admission

The admission process is simple they organized a one-entrance exam. Eligibility - 60% secure in PCM in 12 classes. I found an application form on Google. Application fees are 1300. And the date was tentative. Reservation is available. Yes, remote proctored features are enabled but it is not working and the result declaration is not good.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
