What Students Say

Likes

The environment around the campus is good.
Wifi facilities 24 by 7 is one of the best thing I like in this college

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not at all good. There are few washing machines so we face lot of issues while washing clothes.
The main reason is that the placements are not good. There are very few companies visiting our college

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Since I am interested in computers I have decided to take CSE BRANCH. The faculty here is not too much good. They have done their PhDs from various NITs but teaching is not that effective. There are 64 boys and 6 girls in the CSE branch. There are two exams like mid sem and end sem. They are not that difficult to pass

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Here fees per semester are 2 lakhs exclusive of branch whether it may be CSE, EC, or DSAI. Since I am from the general category I won't avail any scholarship. As I have enquired from seniors and management there are very few companies coming to the college for the placements.

Campus Life

2.5

There are no festivals conducted in this college. but some clubs are there where they conduct some events clubs like Return 0, GDSC, BLOCKSOC, CLOUD COMPUTING, E CELL and many more. Recently the annual fest (IIIT HABBA)was conducted in the college. There is only one library and many of the books are not available in the library . As there is only one ground on our campus we cannot play outdoor games like cricket, or football. Sports activities are not that effective since there is no proper equipment like no proper outdoor and indoor stadiums

Hostel Facilities

2.5

In the hostel we are provided a room in which a total of four students will be there including me . They provide a plank, one study table, one chair and a cupboard for each student.First of all food in the mess is not at all good.menu is totally different.quality is not that much good.cleanliness in the hostel is upto the mark but many activities could be done to improve cleanliness

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I have applied for the JEE examination and got 96.75 percentile. Based on that my all-India rank was given and based on the cut-off for that college I got admission through jossa counselling. I didn't get any reservation benefits since I am from the general category.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
