Remarks

I think they are good or the best you can get in delhi but lot of things need to be changed.

Entrance Preview

I gave IIT JEE and civil was something i was always interested in thats why chose to opt for civil .I scored 120 AIR .

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Our college provide internship and global leading companies like Larsen and taurbo, Lockhead martin visited the the campus. It was a great experience but i was not able made it to any of the company.

Placement Experience

Jobs opportunities are very great. Recently about 700 Companies visited the campus for jobs and recruited a whopping amount of students.

College Events

There are many to discuss, in total we have 5 fests one of which is quite famous which is celebrated anually called rendevezous and apart from that there are many events take place which are quite big and great to experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently,I don't know about any but maybe they provide .

Campus Life

3.5

If i have to explain in one word then it would be 'fantastic'. Campus life is great you will have hanging around one of the best minds of the country but gender ratio is quite low. Extracurricular activities are great and there is a great participation from the student despite the brutal syllabus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel are pathetic and the mess food is decent.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty

The faculty of the college varies. There is a range of faculty there ,some of them are really good but not all of them.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

I also wanted to join IITD because of the lucrative placement opportunities that IITD provides.
