Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The Course curriculum is very hard to study, here the syllabus is very tough and challenging. I chose this because of my parent's suggestion. Here the faculty-student ratio is 2:15 approximately. Here the faculties are very kind and friendly but they will cry to give marks and to at least pass the course. The exams are conducted very frequently, they conduct a lot of exams and complete the semester very fast.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are decent in our college. Previously many companies visited our campus and provided massive placements for students. But the companies are not visiting that much expected this year. The packages are also average. Previously up to 50 LPA per annum was the highest package but this year it is only 35 LPA recorded as the highest package. The average package is quite appreciable i.e 18 LPA. I will start a business after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees for me are very high because I chose a non-scholarship quota. For me almost I am paying 5 lakh per year. It's a very burden to me. But the seat in this precious college is more valuable for me so I opted for it. However, the financial assistance is very bad because they are not responding fast after I applied for the non-scholarship quota to know whether my seat is confirmed or not. Other than that the placement is decent here. Someone got the highest package about 50 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

4

Tantrostav, Anokha, and Vidyut are the biggest fests. There was an entry fee of 2000 but it was worth it because so many celebrities came for a musical concert. The library has a vast no of books and it is the central library because there are also available lot of journals and research papers to study. Sports are highly encouraged here, if we play well we can go to state-level competitions. There are some student clubs called trinetra, cognizance, etc. in which students can work together.

Hostel Facilities

4

Our batch is very lucky because we are alloted to newly built hostels they are very beautiful and the room is very comfortable. Coming to the food in a mess it is very difficult to consume the food because they will not prepare the food with proper ingredients like salt and chili powder. Our college is located far away from the city, it is very difficult to travel to go for outings. Also, there is no PG or room nearby by our college.

Admission

The admission process is simple in our college. Actually, they will conduct one exam called AEEE. I attempted that exam but I didn't get a good rank, then I attempted 2 phase exam then also my rank was not up to mark. So, I applied for a non-scholarship quota, and then they alloted a CSE seat for me on my choice based on my 12th percentile. Here there is a reservation for a home quota who live in Tamilnadu. I want to see improvement in increasing CSE seats. Because there is more competition for CSE Course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
