The college has an FFCS system in which you can pick your courses and teachers as you wish. It is very useful and one of the best. Mechanical engineering is one of the best here and has a very good scope and demand in clubs and chapters. There are a lot of teachers to choose from as well. The term exams and tests are based upon the class you are in and the teacher since it is relative grading.

Companies like Intel, eBay, Amazon, Dell, Texas Instruments, Schneider Electric, DEshaw, Hitachi hp, and Tata Motors. So there are a lot of opportunities you can utilize. The stipend you get varies from company to company.

A lot of companies visit for placements here, the placements for core subjects like mechanical, EEE, and chemical are very good. The placements for CSE are the best here. The average placement salary is of 8lpa.

The cost to study is dependent on your VITEEE rank. The more you get the less the fees will be. There 5 category systems. The 1st is 2lakhs p.a., the 2nd is 3lakhs p.a. 3rd category is 4 lakhs, the 4th is 4.5 lakhs and the 5th is 5 lakhs per annum. It is affordable if you get 1st or 2nd category.

The infrastructure is one of the best in the country. The library, The academic buildings, hangout spots are very beautiful and Purposeful. There are huge sports grounds and many top-notch sports facilities.

There are many hostel blocks you can choose from. The hostels are very neat and clean. The meals are very good and neat. There is one website called VTOP which is the only thing you will need, it has everything from A to Z. It can used for registering a hostel and changing mess, etc.

Admission is very easy, there is an exam for admission(B.Tech) called VITEEE which is similar to JEE (but easier). According to the rank you get, you can join your desired course with different fee categories which is decided by the VITEEE rank.
