Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I was deeply interested in the robotics field and this college provided one of the best courses focused on robotics in the country. The faculty are really up to mark, all of them hold PhDs and have published a considerable amount of papers. And the faculty-student Ratio is good. There are enough faculty to not repeat the same faculty for another course in any other year. The exams are on the easier side but the correction is a little tough but fair.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We are free to search for internship opportunities and they support our efforts. In addition to that the university has tie-ups with many industries and they provide internship opportunities. We are encouraged to start our own projects and papers and they provide constant support to help us.

Placement Experience

3

The preparation for placements starts in the 3rd year and they are very thorough in their efforts to prepare the students provide many resources to help the students and the placements have a very good success rate. I personally plan to go for my master's after my degree but I would still like to participate in the placements to see where I stand.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined with a scholarship and the entire tuition fee for my course is 250000 and I pay only 100000 tuition fee. But we can lose our scholarship if we don't maintain a certain CGPA. If our CGPA falls below the requirements we lose our scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The fest is always organized by the students and there is barely any funding for them. And even if a fest is approved the funding is abysmal and the restrictions are many, The classrooms are well equipped and all of them have a projector and the classrooms are always big enough to house more than 60 students at least. All the clubs are student-found and run and it's easy to get into them with some requirements.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel rooms are big enough, the fans are small and during summer it's very hot to the point it is hard to bear it. We are not allowed too many electrical appliances and they are often confiscated if they find them. The warden is strict but also very understanding and won't complain or report anything unreasonably.

Admission

The admission process was rather easy but the fee payment and allocation of seats in college was troublesome. And the exam for this addmission was AEEE it was a very competitive exam and my rank reflects the amount of competition for the marks I achieved.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
