Course Curriculum Overview
One of the best things about vit is they have many faculties and because of this they give students a chance to select their teacher according to their convince so the rating of faculty can vary for each student, talking about me, the teachers I selected are one of the best teachers, they teach fabulously, clear students doubt and their of checking exam copy is also very good.
Placement Experience
They do have on company place, many companies come here to recruit student but not all get good money, it all depends on their skills. The placement process starts in 4 th year for a student and it continues for his whole year, the companies in this college come in slots. They have 3 slots in slot 1 comes good companies who pay good amount like above 10 lahks CTC but they recruit a limited amount of student then comes slot 2 companies who pays an average amount like 5-10 laks CTC and they recruit a good amount of Student they comes slot 3 companies they are typically mass recruiters company who recruits in a large amount of no. but pays a very small amount like 3-4 laks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, vit is a private college so like every other private university, this college is also money minded, they ask for the tuition fee in the form of categories and categories depending on your viteee rank and accordingly your campus and course selection. I am in cse core and for the BTech branch they have 5 category for category 1 the fee is around rs2lakh for cat 2 it is around 3.5lakh it increase acc to category and for category 5 it's around 5lakh. Their fees generally don't hike much. Talking about scholarships the top 10 ranked in viteee get a 100% fee waiver then from 11-100 get 50%waiver and 100-1000 get a 25% fee waiver and students above the 1000 rank don't get any scholarship. Talking about internships, yes they provide internships to the students but not all students only to those who have good cgpa and skills.
Campus Life
Honestly, Campus Life is not good in this college, they have a lot of restrictions like last time entry into the college was at 9:30 pm, you can't get to the girl's hostel side after 6:00 pm, and even the hand on girls shoulder is not allowed. Talking about the annual fest, yes they do have an annual fest I am in the VAT shop we have ADVITYA and it is organized in Jan and it's around 5 days but the sad part is they ask for money for entry in the fest. About cultural fest, they have a money culture fest organized by cultural groups we had dandiya night fee days before organized by the Gujarati club Durga astami by the Bengali club poetry day by the Hindi club, and the Android club organized a tech sensation. Talking about sports, they do have sports grounds like they have a court for basketball (not correctly marked), volleyball, cricket nets, and football ground but they don't organize any sports competitions.
Admission
To take into vit University you need to take viteee exam, it's an easy exam below the main level with a limited syllabus mainly consistent with 12th class portions. It is a 120-mark exam with no negative marking and to get Vellore cse in cat +1(including specialisation) you need min 3000 rank.
