Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I haven't chosen this course on my own I was allocated this course by DU. The faculty here are good enough but they are covering the syllabus very fast and one more thing they need to teach in Hindi too for a better understanding of students I haven't taken any exams in my college right now as I am in 1st year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very nominal in DU. I don't think they give any scholarship opportunities or financial assistance, and campus placements are also very less on the South campus of Delhi University they need to focus on this matter.

Campus Life

2.5

Life on campus of Delhi University is always a great experience regular fest infrastructure is also good books are easily available sports are extra activities are also supported by them there are so many social groups like Paws n tails and many more groups are run by students.

Admission

Yes, I give cuet examination you can find it on Google to register as cuet. Samarth and after filling the form you just prepare for exams after some time you receive your admit card with the dates of the examinations and get your result you can fill out the CSAS form which will allocate your seat in Delhi University mention your category/quota to get there easier yes reservation provides benefit to candidates finally only improvement I want to see in conducting exams of cuet by NTA they need to manage candidates per centre to avoid every burden on centre for smooth conduct of exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
