Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I wanted him to go for a BSc in Biotechnology if we talk about Govt. Universities only CURAJ( Central University of Rajasthan) offers this course but that too is a 5-year integrated program i.e. Bsc+Msc if you're fine with it go ahead but for me, I wanted to opt for graduation first, With life Science I can opt for Biotech., Biochem, Microbio, Bio Business and many more as this course includes all bio courses below it same like how PCMB students can go for anything while in 12th I narrowed my way by taking PCB that's why I didn't wanted to repeat same situation. Here in DSC, I'm experiencing more than I had expected, Science labs are so clean and they provide and let us Practice a lot!! , we get individual specimens to work on and Teachers are very frank more than what we had in schools, It feels so cool whatever we imagined being a research student we are experiencing more than expected. Teachers are highly qualified, after all, we are talking about DU teachers.

Internships Opportunities

4

With NCC in our college, you can enroll in various projects, and event management offered by the government. Our college has a placement cell that helps students to apply and interview in many MNCs. Besides college even seniors help you a lot to provide internships in various companies they are enrolled in overall I enjoyed the companionship with seniors in terms of career clarification.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in DU are really affordable it cost me 15000 in the first year and for the next coming 3 year's I'll have to pay something around it every year and For exams, we need to pay 1600/-. Still, students from Delhi (OBC, SC, ST) can apply for scholarships, Students in the General category can also apply for scholarships if they have an EWS certificate / National Level Achievements like in sports or other co-curricular. Science toppers could apply for scholarships and even every college of DU has an 8-10 Scholarship scheme on their website page.

Campus Life

4.5

DU fests are all over famous in Insta, It's not just hyped believe me these fests and events are even better than private universities and Hey!! most of them are free and almost every month events and fests take place. Classrooms at DSC are well maintained, we have smart classrooms , you get a desk chair and Benches, not like those of Modern private Colleges but not even like schools or old style, Decent!! There are Sports clubs for almost every sport, people in such clubs practice daily and college supports them, Here at DSC we have football basketball badminton archery cricket Kabaddi volleyball and many more.. In extra curricular activities we have debate and competitions ,poetry competitions , writing competitions poster makings and many more which takes place regularly and sometimes we compete with Inter College. There are many social groups run by students they are called societies you should really join a society when you are in your first year you will explore a lot.

Admission

For BSc Life Science, you must have PCB/PCMB in your 12th Board. You can enroll in DU by filling Cuet examination form, which comes out around February every year. If you are from the General category, you'll have to score good marks like about 90%, But someone with the category has a great advantage my friend from the ST category scored 258/600 and he's in the Top college of DU so yes reservation matters, if you have one go for it. (PS I'm from Gen category ). Be careful by Filling CUET subject form and after the examination, while filling college preference form, it does matter as a good college preference sheet could lead you to easily get your dream college, follow sequencing tips from Seniors and YouTube.

Other Applied Colleges

Central University of Rajasthan - [CURAJ] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biotechnology)

It provided a combined course Bachelors + Masters which would take 5 years and I have other plans after grad , that's why I haven't opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
