Course Curriculum Overview

4

course curriculum is pretty much like all the other engineering colleges. But it is pretty easy to maintain a cgpa of 8 or above in this college as there is relative gradin in every class, so if the teacher gives less marks, avg. of class will drop and you would be able to get a decent grade. Faculties as good if you choose good faculties . don't pick the blacklisted faculties. you would be given option to choose your faculty in the starting of every semester and you can also plan your classes.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many companies come for internships as well as placements in the campus. it is difficult to get summer internship from college unless you are too good in the academics but you can grab an internship in the 8th semester as from 7th semester many companies starts coming and max. of them are offering internships.

Placement Experience

4

placement of vit is really good. even at the times of recession, they are bringing up many companies in order to get theier students placed. Delloite, accenture, bank of america, pwc, ion are the main players in the campus and have hired 150 persons each companny.

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure in vit is pretty much high as it is a well renowned private college. max. students pay a fees of 500000 per annum only for the courses(excluding the hostel fees). But facilities insite the campus is also pretty much good. It is really safe inside the campus and there are cctv's everywhere. you can also avail various scholarships from various organisations, you will have to provide income certificate and other required documents to get it.

Campus Life

4

Life in the campus is pretty much interesting if you have good set of friends. there are various clubs in which you can get and learn various things. there are two main fets in our college namely gravitas(technical fest) and riviera(cultural fest). It is really fun in these events and everybody should participate at least once in these events.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

hostel life is pretty much amazing. you can go to your friends room and do all the funny things. we used to play cricket in the corridor and used to have so much fun. you can also smoke in your hostel room but will have to take precaution of warden. wardens are generally chill and don't do anything severe.

Admission

I took admission in V.I.T. university in the covid times, therefore i was admitted based on my 12th class marks as jee mains was being continously postponed at that time. generally vit conducts an exam named viteee to admit students in the university and based on your rank in that exam, you are offered courses and campuses. They also take admission from jee mains score and also if you have topped your board of 12 th class, you can get admission in the college directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
