- Campus is very huge and student can explore as much as they want.
- Classrooms filled Projectors and Air Conditioners. Some rooms also have digital whiteboards for better and futuristic interactions.
- Professors are very good (at least in Mechanical Branch).
Dislikes
- Hostel maintanance can definitely be improved which is happening slowly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always liked Mechanical since my 11th and 12th. That is why I chose Mechanical and only filled Mech courses in my counseling choices as well. The curriculum is almost similar in all colleges for the 1st year which has the same basic courses for all branches. The Core Topics will start from 2nd year. Most of the Faculty are very supportive and will also give opportunity for the students to do research internships under them and the name of the student will be published in the paper that he/she contributed to the professor.
Internships Opportunities
Many Companies visit the campus. The majority of them are indeed for Software, But other fields are not so less. There are Top Notch Mechanical Companies like, Bajaj, Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, John Deere, and many more that take students for internships.
Placement Experience
The internship opportunities are available from the start of 3rd year when the companies visit the campus for internships. They come for placements in the 4th year starting. some companies take offline interviews and some take online.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees have to be paid every Semester through the Student portal itself. The fee Payment portal will be opened 1 month prior to the Sem Registration. Students can avail of many Scholarships. I personally didn't need any financial support so, I dont have much info about the scholarships.
Campus Life
Technical Fest, Cultural Fest, Multi-ethnic Fest, Sports Fest, Hostel Fest, Garden Fest, and some branches have their respective fests. There is a huge Library with a lot of books and a reading room facility where students can bring their Laptops and study as well. it is fully facilitated with ACs and the Internet. The classrooms are all equipped with AC, Projectors, and Speakers where professors can easily teach.
Hostel Facilities
Our Hostel rooms are double rooms which are given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years, 4th years can ask for Single rooms and they are provided. The hostels are predetermined by the College itself but students can change their hostel by talking with the Chief Warden. the old Hostels have some maintenance issues but the newer hostels have all the maintenance facilities. The mess of the hostel has a fixed timetable and time slots for Breakfast, Lunch, snacks, and dinner.
Admission
I wrote the JEE Mains Exams and There were many rounds of counseling where students were allotted colleges based on their score in the JEE Mains and the order of preference the students selected. The cut-off scores of JEE Mains vary each year and it depends on the branch allotted and the number of students who attempted the exam that Year.
