The faculty members are very highly qualified and their teaching, method is fine on average. The term exams are held timely. Each sem has 4 months, at the end of the 2nd month midsems are held and at the last of the 4th month endsems are held. The exams are moderate in terms of difficulty, provided you study timely.

Admission
The admission process may vary slightly depending on the program applied for. I can provide you with the undergraduate process. Undergraduate admission Btech: Candidates must appear for JEE Main and thus they are required to qualify it based on the score they get they have to clear the cutoff for admission in the required branch of this institution. After the JEE main results are declared the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the admission process for NITs. Based on the choices made by the candidates and their JEE main ranks, JoSAA allocates seats in various rounds. Once a seat is allocated candidates need to pay the admission fees and complete the formalities to take admission.
