Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course computer science because future is all about programming nd machine learning. Ratio is around 30 student : 1 faculty The department is fortunate to have a diversified, well-qualified, skilled and dedicated faculty working for the betterment of its students through industrial and research collaborations. Many of them are phd holders and masters degree. There teaching methodbis best as one can learn and understand easily what the topic is all about. Some times exams were postponed due to some issues like late admission or hall ticket but most of the time it was on time and the paper were sometime easily and moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Around 50% of students get internships in third year in companies like jpmc. We are offered role like project manager, software developer and front end etc. We are given projects related to frontend and backend projects mainly.
Placement Experience
As per the official website, the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students were placed and 348 companies were visited during NIE Mysore placements 2023.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is a bit high and it is around three lakhs per annum. various scholarships are awarded. One of them is Karnataka scholarship and from Karnataka region you can get through KCET, where the fees is less

Hostel Facilities
From an open-air amphitheater for cultural events and celebrations, a fully-equipped gym facility, WiFi access, a common lobby where students can read newspapers and magazines, separate room for watching TV, washing machines on each floor, and hot water geysers with 24 hours water supply. Serves both north and south cuisine in mess. Registration process is simple one can do when he visits hostel and is quite affordable.
Admission
First, candidates have to apply for the entrance exam- KCET or COMEDK UGET. Candidates need to register and then fill up the application form with all required documents and pay the application form fee for the entrance exam. Application fees is 1800 and dates can be checked on comedk site Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- COMEDK UGET or KCET. Furthermore, the cut off is released for B.E admission. Acc to me i felt the admission process was smooth and easily done.
