Likes

Teachers and labs of biomedical course are very nice. Teachers are quite friendly and always help us . And i must say our lab assistant staff are also very nice.
Different societies are present which help to follow our passion and help us to explore new things.
Clg canteen are good the food are also good and prove were reasonable the hygiene level is also good

Dislikes

Should provide more seats for students and i think clg should provide or introduce new cultures

The biomedical science course hepls to think and develop new things .it tells us about the new things.the teachers are very good and the subject that were teached are also very nice i personally really likhe boc subject and teacher also All the teachers are well qualified and complete their phd with diff universities

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 22915 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for biomedical science are quite high as compare to other courses .i think fees will be less and only three colleges of delhi university provide biomedical course so more colleges may provide biomedical science course. I am in south campus

Campus Life

The life at the campus are good . As i am in 1 sem so till now no fest were happened but i hear that college give a good annual fest Library and reading rooms are also available in clg .An enterpreneurship lab are also present . Sports room are also present and extra cirricular activities were happened as in our college different societies were present Ecoclub and uva are the groups that are run by students

Admission

Admission process were quite moderate but the cutoff are very high .they take cuet entrance exam and the eligibility crieteria for biomedical science is the students should pursue 12 with science stream with biology .The application fee is 1400 which is quite expensive for the students who belong toh middle class family.The reserved students get more admission as compare to general students.i think the reservation criteria for sc st are quite high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Dislikes

College campus might not seem huge but is still enough with plenty of green spaces.
Canteen efficiency and ordering process could improve.
College entry process could be more streamlined.

There is a proctive college placement cell tied to every department and every semester/batch students via a placement coordinator who facilitates communication between the cell and students. Students are eligible for paid internships early in their college tenure, with placements following later. The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.

Some knowledge some confusion

Likes

The things i liked in my college is the teching faculty provided. They have a good experience of teaching with mny research papers which have been published by them.
The second best thing is the college amenities like library and society. You will get every book required for you curriculum in the college library incuding few magzines too. The society will help you to develop other soft skills.
The most important part of college life are webinars where we interact with someone big professional like Dr. H. C. Verma sir who once visited in our college aur big faces too. Sports events, skills webinar, Cultural events makes the overall experien

Dislikes

A little bit old infrastructure can a point that is disliked by us and many students. As everyone wants to be a part of a new and good looking college
Lack of hostel facility in the college campus is a major issue. Specially for those students who are not able to accommodate in the Flats/PG due to thier financial status. But the new building will be available with all the facilities within few year

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
