Remarks
The university is one of the best in Jaipur district. A certain standard is maintained inside the campus. The relation between a teacher and student is good. The teachers are friendly and will help in almost all cases. Few new initiatives are all working in the university to further increase the standards and reputation of the university.
Entrance Preview
I took JEE examination. My score was 72, so I couldn't clear the examination. But my score was decent enough to get admission in this university. The admission criteria in this university can be either 12th percentage or JEE Rank. I didn't want to opt for RTU affiliated colleges so I chose deemed university. This university is one of the best private universities in Jaipur so I chose this university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum followed in the university is guided by UGC since it is affiliated to UGC. The first year students are taught subjects of all the fields. Apart from regular subjects, some necessary useful subjects are also included in the curriculum like basic communication, professional skills, aptitude etc. From second year onwards, the main core subjects are taught as per the field chosen.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the university provides internships within and off campus. But I have recently completed my first year so I don't have much knowledge regarding this topic.
Placement Experience
The placements for CS branch are quite nice. The university tries to get 3 placements for each individual and the deserving students get good packages too. The placements for mechanical branch are decent. Recently a Civil student was placed at a very good package of around 8 lacs by a government company.
College Events
Technical and cultural events are regularly organised in the campus. The biggest event is the JU Rhythm which is a Techno cultural business fest. The fest includes a lot of fun events inviting students from other universities too to participate in them. The JU Verve is a sports fest including various sports like cricket, football, volleyball, rugby etc. Small technical are a regular sight within the campus. Hackathon and Ideathon are organised in the campus for students interested in web designing and ethical hacking.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible as per the standards of the university. The tuition fee is around 1-1.25 lacs for B.Tech in Computer science. The hostel fees is Rs.90000 for non AC rooms and Rs.125000 for AC rooms. The fee structure cannot be called as expensive regarding the facilities provided in the hostel. Very few hostels are there with a separate room for each student.
Campus Life
The overall campus life is quite nice. The large campus is filled with greenery providing good atmosphere for learning. Extra curricular activities are regularly organised in the campus. Useful workshops are there to guide the students and expose them to the industry.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are very good. A flat system is being incorporated in the hostel with each student getting a separate room for him. The campus is provided with all sorts of sports facilities including cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, basketball etc. The mess food is not good. Recently changes have been there but I can't say that they will be long enough or not.
Alumni/Alumna
The 2nd and 3rd-year seniors are good. They are quite serious regarding their academics and are helpful too. Many of them are very good at their work and are having a good time at the university.
Exam Structure
In a semester, 2 in sems and 1 end sem is there. The in sems are of 50 marks while the end sem is of 100 marks. The assignments and attendance also have their weightage in the final result. Labs are regularly visited by the students during college hours since they are part of the curriculum.
Admission
After the submission of admission form, students are shortlisted as per their 12th percentage or JEE rank. So, the counseling call and mail is sent to the student. The successful counseling process provides admission of the student in the university.
Faculty
The faculties in the university are well qualified. Many of the faculties are having Ph.D. degrees in their subjects. The minimum qualification of each of the faculty is M.Tech. Some faculties are also currently pursuing their Ph.D. Some faculties are really good at their work. They are very good and helpful. The overall atmosphere in the university is quite learning friendly.
