Remarks

Campus is fabulous and so is the environment. I will definitely miss the place. Located in Tamil Nadu, accessibility is restricted. Campus is beautiful and so are the professor's pedagogy.

Entrance Preview

I qualified for the college through JEE 2014, mains actually. I ranked in AIR 1100s in the mains merit list. Being in general category, I preferred college over branch and opted for Production engineering in NITT.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curricula is very lucid and suits best to our needs. We all have a given set basic courses in first year we all are suppose to complete. They well designed in the are of specialization we opt for 2nd year onwards.

Internships Opportunities

We get lot of access to great deal of companies and other prestigious institutions like IISc, TIFR, HRI etc. I did my intern at IIT Guwahati through a proper channel that cannot be disclosed. Not all companies or interns have stipend as claims but most does. Again I am not allowed to share the companies and details of stipend usually offered.

Placement Experience

Generally all of our students gets placed. Placements starts from the very beginning of 7th semester and continues to March next year. We are not allowed to air the details about the companies or their packages to public.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Academic fees charged per semester is INR 30,000. We have a option to choose from in case of mess and hostel and they vary according to your choice.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
