Remarks

They have way too many restrictions on students now.

Entrance Preview

I gave SRMJEE exam and through merit basis I got computer science branch. I just had to go through their placements data and since this college was affiliated with the main university I had nothing to worry about. There wasn't any interview process allowed as such. The CS branch is well known and is still quite in demand all over India and also in abroad and since I was a bit inclined towards CS in my school years I didn't took a second to choose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

It wasn't actually satisfactory for me. The focus on practical learning was given utmost importance in some and none in the rest. The college didn't took any research initiative . The elective options is between database and networking and also in Linux and advanced Java.

Internships Opportunities

No they didn't provide us any internship but rather asked us to do training on a course in a company or institute and submit a report on such.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario was somewhat biased towards the students in south campus.More than 70% of the students got placed .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is way too high but that's how it has been for private universities so far and it changes every yr so it won't be helpful even if I will tell you.

Faculty

They are quite qualified but that doesn't mean they are well versed in teaching skills as mostly they are pretty interactive during their sessions but clearly lack in explanation skills

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
