Likes

I liked the Infrastructure, faculty and attendance is very liberal
Its one of the founding college of DU with great alumni track record.
Placements are great considering undergraduate level

Dislikes

Politics oriented college woth lots of goons
Placement process is not rhat great and needs improvement
Batch size is very small for commerce courses

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum for B.com is wide. It gives holistic view of commerce allied subjects like Accounts, Law, Taxation, Auditing, Marketing and Finance. Faculty is experienced with most professors phd holders.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visit our campus for internship. Mostly there are audit and consultancy firms which offer roles. Majorly students with society like RCS, FIC and Placement cell gets oppurtunity with stipends ranging from 10000-50000

Placement Experience

In semester 5 students start applying to Placement Cell. Highest package for the batch of 22-23 is 21.5lpa with 7.8lpa average package De shaw offers highest package and almost all Big 4's visit campus like Deloitte,Pwc,EY and Kpmg. Almost half of the batch who sits for placement gets placed in commerce and economics courses. I will be doing CA articleship right after college

Fees and Financial Aid

For Bcom(H) and Bcom(NEP) its around 14-15k for 2 semesters( Unreserved) Scholarship is available for financially weaker sections and fully supported environment for SC/ST candidates and there is no discrimination Jobs are mostly for Commerce and Economic courses.

Campus Life

Mosaic is the annual fest which attracts whole DU crowd and invites most popular stars and celebrities. Library is nicely maintained with lot of books. Classroom is equipped with projectors. Abvp is very active in Ramjas!!!!

Admission

The admission process was quite lengthy and overwhelming. From our batch the boards system was removed otherwise I would be ending up either in Hansraj or Hindu for sure. CUET was the entrance mode and scoring 700 plus for commerce courses in safe score for general category ofcourse. If you want to get admission into North Campus the make sure you score more than 755 atleast.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

A Detailed Review on ARSD College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

ALL ABOUT DU SOL

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
