Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen this course because i want to get into the north campus of Delhi University but was have less marks to get bcom hons so got maths hons in kmc. The course curriculum is appropriate and the teachers are also good. The number of students on our class is 50 approx and the teachers are able to handle them properly. The teaching method used by them is very good as i am able to understand most of the thing they taught me. The the exams were very easy to passs.

Internships Opportunities

1

As this is my first semester so i have not applied for any internships . And doesn't know much about them but got to know about some in unofficial whatsapp college groups which we offering 7 to 15 k stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i pay is Fourteen thousand something. It is good enough for me as it doesn't affect my financial position. I am getting no scholarships or financial assistance or job , so I cannot comment on that.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is amazing as we are in the delhi best part and we can explore many things. I haven't attended any annual fest but attended the farewell party which was not too good as only one dj came there and we are supposed to dance only. The literature festival was also organised is out college and it was amazing. So of our class have air conditioniner but they are not working. Other things are ok in class. The sports is also promoted by college by organising tournaments like kpl for cricket and i play volleyball in college and the experience is good.

Admission

The admission process was too lenghty as it took 1 month to complete the entrance test and another 1 month for result and and another 1 month for college allotment process. In the college allotment process we were supposed to make a preference sheet which was bery difficult and time consuming for a student who doesn't have knowledge about other colleges that theirs dream college.the cutoff was also higher than previous year as i want to get in the north campus with bcom hons course but ended up with maths hons in kmc. I would suggest that the admission process should be made simpler and short as all of the work is online these days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
