This is the best course I could have gotten by my rank also this is the best course the university has to offer placement wise. Since there are a lot of subjects that are being taught in this university so telling about the student to faculty ratio is hard but good enough to cater engineering students for sure. Most of the teachers are well qualified and teach well. And also in most of the subject you get their hand made PDFs to study from if incase you missed the class but attending class is advisable. The term exams are conducted in each six months approx and are easy to moderate at Max if you follow all the class properly.

The course fees of all the branches of engineering with the exception of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is very minimal.The 4 year course fee is around 10k to 12k . But the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY course fee is very high as compared to other.It is around 19k per semester and we have 8 semesters.

Yes.You have to qualify wbjee in order to get admission in Jadavpur University. The subjects are physics chemistry and mathematics. Mathematics 100 marks and physics and chemistry each has 50 marks paper. Exam happens in one day first paper is mathematics after that 1 hour break and then paper 2 physics and chemistry together. To prepare for this exam you have to master the 11 th and 12th grade pcm properly and questions are as per with JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED.
