Entrance Preview

I got through AIEEE. NIT trichy is the best among all the nits in India i gave preference to college rather than branch.

Internships Opportunities

For my branch I.e civil engineering companies like lnt, Alstom came for internship large numbers of software and managements usually comes to our campus for placements and internship including companies like Facebook, Google, schlumberger,Microsoft etc. Nit trichy have the record of attracting more than 200 companies every year.

Placement Experience

Nit trichy is best known for it's placements 100 percent placement for branches like cs, ece, mechanical and for other branches it is always ore than 90 percent overall placement is 95%approx more than 200 companies visit every year.

College Events

Festember cultural fest certified best in south india Pragyan technomanagemnt fest, ISO certifiedindia, Nitfest, intercultural fest ( best of 3) Symposium for every branches.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For my year fee was around 20000 per sememster and hostel and mess fee were around 15000 per semester I.e 35000 per semester yearly around 70000 every year including everything excluding your personal expense.

Loan is easily avabilaible in campus bank I.e sbi there are so many other scholarship State government, central government, opjem, etc.

Don't know about other colleges but In our college, we have separate mess for north indian food and south indian food.you can choose anyone you want if this is not the case with the other colleges, you will need some time adjusting with the food its not l

Senior and juniors share a great bond once you know each other every fest in college depends upon the senior junior relationship we enjoy together. Nit yrichy has huge alumni network and every uera meeting is arranged in college we have a alumuni association that organised various events for strong relationship the alumni includes personalities like tcs CEO and many other eminent personalities you can always get help from those network our alumni are present almost in every state every companies and even most of te country.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
