The peer group I made and am a part of currently
The hostel facilities are at par to the standards and money
The infrastructure of vit is at par for all the needs for education and co circulars activity

Dislikes

The companies visiting vit have deteriorated over the past few years
The strict rules regarding the campus rules for the girls restricting their freedom hampers the campus life
The hostel food is good but can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to date and the examination papers and faculty are not excellent but adequate.At the end of the day like any other college you have to study on your own.But academically challenged students are helped around with regular extra classes

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities of vit are limited when compared to other colleges, this is contributed by the fact that there are no on campus internship opportunities While the connectivity and vigilant look over internships around other colleges are helpful but it can sure be improved

Placement Experience

The placements at vit vellore are not exactly stable and fluctuate depndijg on the current background.While VIT does manage to bring sone pretty impressive companies to the campus ,the students end up without any actual placement records in their hand and have to settle for the average package. I would have to say in catergories 3 or higher , VIT is not entirely able to cope up with the ROI

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not that expensive , there is a system of catergories defined for the distinguishing of various categories. As far as scholarships are concerned the academically gifted students are given scholarships on pure merit basis. While there are no opportunities for on campus jobs there are opportunities and free time for students to work on internships from various tech companies and students are made aware of that through various mails sent on daily basis

Campus Life

While the academic life in vit is at par .The social life is much less acquainted to a VITian . Vit does secure a brighter future , but not a present. For the girls the campus life is close to nothing.Well you can enjoy in campus , roaming around and getting to know people and making friends, but life outside campus is not very exciting.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are at par , Infact I would say that VIT posses some of the best hostels among many pravar and government colleges.While nothing can beat home cooked meal , the mess food is of pretty adequate standards.The hostel has amenities such as gymnasium, a swimming pool and many confectionery shops as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

The admission process started with an entrance exam and based on the results of the exam , the branches and fee category was divised.The entrance was more or less like that if JEE Mains and it was easy to score in it

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

In our college there any company are coming mostly plastic company where coming plastic company like Reliance ,fanuc, jsw, ather, caterpillar ecetera where coming they provide placements and packages above 3 lakh our placement office velladurai sir is a very kindful for he makes a company dealings

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
