Course Curriculum Overview

I chose btech cse . In this competetive world , coding, computing, web -app development , machine learning ,etc have demand and further more things definitely arrive. We are not only prepared for course what we chose , but also self development, communication skills, mature, physical health,etc. Including these , we have many workshops to learn new things. Talking about exams , yeah i agree we have tough competition with difficulty level but this makes everyone to prepare for their best. I have seen some faculty members , they really execellent

Internships Opportunities

since i am first year student still i don't know proper information, but i know some. 2nd year students write exams for internships, for which they will get internships in 3rd year. As i know my cse senior got internship with a stipend of 1.2 lakh per month.

Placement Experience

second year students starts applying for internships in 3rd semester itself. from 7th semester starting, placements will start. we have nearly 98 percentage of students get placed. highest package is 60lpa. median package- 14 lpa. One 2014 passed out student suggested us to focus on any one thing and this college degree helps will take care of everything.And that student is working in Indian armed forces-cyber security.

Fees and Financial Aid

For institution fees , it is fixed rs65,000 for every year student.Hostel fees may vary, it includes mess fee rs22,500 -it is fixed . and overall 43k for hostel fees. The above fees is for one semester. Students with st\sc reservation , or students with below one lakh income- they need not to pay institution fees, only hostel fee. Students with below 5 lakh income - they have to pay 2/3rd of 65k. There are also some scholarships - nsp,etc

Campus Life

FESTEMBER-One of the largest cultural festival-annually held in third week of september NITTFEST-It's like a battle between departments over quizes, debates, music , arts ,etc SPORTSFETE-It's too a battle between departments but over sports AAVEG , Orientation- mainly for freshers PRAGYAN-It's a fest which brings awareness in future engineers over many aspects

Hostel Facilities

Everything is fine.But for first year boys , they should wash their clothes by them. Sometimes drinking water problem. Mess is okay. we have chicken on every wednesday and sunday, fish - once in a month. my hostel name is agate.

Hostel Fee: INR 43800 per year

Admission

jee mains btech - entrance exam, conducted by nta, subjects- maths, physics,chemistry, percentile system- relative grading, counselling- josaa and csab, eligibility for counselling- above 75 percentage in class 12 exams, cutoff can be seen in josaa website, josaa have 2 mock rounds + 6 orginal rounds, csab have 2 rounds, we cannot change the order of preference once if counselling round started.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . NIT Trichy is the best choice

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
