Remarks

The overall experience was great as I could learn a range of things apart from the prscribed curriculum the college management is very helpful and encouraging funds are easily made available for innovative projects and ideas quick actions are taken in cas

Entrance Preview

I gave AIEEE examination for admission in national institutes. I got AIR 7453 and my state rank was 99 i opted for this college for primarily 2 reasons firstly, the reputation of the institute was very good(among top 10 engineering colleges in the country according to most surveys) secondly, it was near my hometown of Bhubaneswar.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides large number of internship opportunities and also industrial experience is compulsory in the pre final year. The general stipend provided varies from 10k to 25k per month. Companiesthat visited the college for intern recruitment were Tata Steel, Affine Analytics, Intel, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Dell, Goldman Sachs, Freecharge among others. Experience in these internships are generally great. Students get to learn and train in the industry that they want to join and generally these internships end up into PPOs.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement opportunities are plenty total students placed were nearly 97 percent out of the total 1300 students that sat for placements a total of 160 companies visited the college some of the companies and their packages are: PwC 15 Lpa, Coca Cola, Pepsi 7 LPA, Xilinx 9 LPA, Tata steel 9 LPA, Coal India Limited 9.5 LPA, Microsoft 10.2 LPA, Amazon 22 LPA and many others were there the average CTC was around 4.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure in my time was relatively cheap. Fees per semester was Rs. 34500 this included Rs. 12500 towards food charges in mess for 4 months rest amount included tuition fee, lab fee, hostal fee, student activity fee and maintenance fee so it was very much feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any loan or scholarships but there are options available for needy students loans from SBI are available in reduced rates on providing suitable documents also OP Jindal scholarship is available for toppers various central government scholarship schemes are also availed by many students.

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
