Remarks

Overall the college gives you lot of exposure to explore yourself and pursue your interests as well as strengthening technical skills.

Entrance Preview

1.The college is one of the top colleges in Marathwada region. 2.Being an Engineer this college gives you an opportunity to not only build strong technical knowledge but also develop one's interpersonal skills and developing as a person on a whole. 3. The college is an autonomous institute of the government of Maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

1.As far as my curriculum is considered I had enough blend of electrical subjects with a gentle mix of electronics and power subjects. 2. There are electives through which one can pursue his/her interests and take other courses offered by the other streams in the college.

Internships Opportunities

1. My college asks the students to go for a compulsory one-month internship. 2. The college also provides assistance if the student finds it difficult to earn an internship. 3. The internship is entirely an industrial experience offering no stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

1. The IT,CS and E&TC department offer 98% placements in my college. The non-core department saw companies like TCS,NVIDIA,3DPLM,PGS,RELIANCE,CYBAGE,WIPRO and many more visiting the college. 2.The core sector Mechanical and Electrical has slightly fewer placements compared to the core. Both the streams had around 50% placements. The companies that visited of the core were SIEMENS,CROMPTON GREAVES POWER, CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELECTRICALS,BAJAJ, ENDURANCE, VARROC,UDL,TORRENT POWER,L&T and many more visiting the college.

College Events

4

1. National level technical event known as WINGS takes place wherein colleges from all over Maharashtra vie for top honours. Notable personalities like Varun Agrawal,Achyut Godbole,Avinash Dharmadikari and many more have given the guest lectures in the WINGS. 2..The annual sporting event known as the ESPIRITO is indeed played with a true sportsman spirit. The college has Badminton, Cricket,Table Tennis,Volleyball,Kho Kho,Basketball,Kabaddi,Football courts

Fee Structure And Facilities

1.The fees structure is slightly tilted towards the feasible range. 2. Compared to the fees compared with the colleges in metropolitan cities, this autonomous college of the government of Maharashtra offers less fees to pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Scholarship offered by the Government are offered in my college. 2. Also meritorious as well as needy students are given scholarships as high as 25K based upon a selection process

Alumni/Alumna

There is no any ragging taking place in the college. The seniors are gradually very helpful and guide the juniors in different academic as well as extracurricular aspects.

Exam Structure

1. Credit based system based on relative scoring is followed in the college. The final pointer is calculated based on credit points given to the subjects. 2. The pointer is calculated on a score of 10. 3.The 100 marks theory subject is divided as 60-20-20.60 marks are for final theory exam,20 marks are for the teacher's assessment and 20 marks are taken from the sessional exams that take places popularly known as class tests

Admission

1. I took admission by firstly giving the jee mains examination. When I took the admission jee mains and board PCM group percentage were considered as a 50-50 criteria for admissions. Now the admissions take place solely on your MHCET score with a mandatory 50% for open and 45% for the reserved categories in the PCM group in boards. 2.The registration is to be done on the official dte website and the application fees applicable is to be paid. 3.An online form is to be filled and the documents are to be verified at the respective facilitation centres. 4. Based on the obtained marks a state merit rank is released. 5.Option forms for the cap rounds are to be filled and depending upon the score and rank the college is alloted in the cap allotment rounds. 5.If the student wish to take admission he can take it or wait for the subsequent rounds. I got admission to my stream in the 2nd cap round. There were in all three cap rounds and one additional round when i took admission.

Faculty

3.5

1.The faculty of the college is quite good. 2. As far as my department is considered the number of faculty is less according to the prescribed standards. 3. The teachers have mostly completed PHD's or either pursuing them. More than 70% faculty of my department are a proud alumnus of my college itself.
